Well, the global economic markets might be going up and down but our Toronto Real Estate Market continues on a positive note. Hot, Hot areas are still seeing multiple offer bids, and turnkey product is a sure-fire seller. The builders are confident enough to be contenting for prime building properties and our interest rates are still historically low.
So what is going on? We seem to have a bottleneck of buyers but not enough product to fill the demand. If the weather and the interest rates hold we should continue into December. As far as investments go real estate is something that is tangible and you can actually live in your investment and control it's growth through improvements and upgrades.
Adding curb appeal with a little gardening effort can reward you in spades ( sorry, pun intended) and updating your paint colours or investing in a few trendy decorating items can add a whole new dimension to your decor. You don't know how many clients have said after I've helped them move furniture around or choose colour schemes say " I don't know if I want to move anymore, why didn't we do this sooner. The house looks great!"
So... if you're a seller and are wondering what the market is doing or you're a buyer and need help negotiating these fast-paced times you both know who to call.
A great many moves in our lives are to larger residences to accommodate growing families. Or, perhaps our financial development allows us to move up to a larger home with more features and amenities. There is no stress involved in trying to reduce our life’s stuff to fit into a smaller place. If anything, we just need to shop for some more furniture for the new larger place.
You may have lived in your home for many years. The location factors that you considered when making your purchase decision may not apply to today’s buyers. The task is to identify the current positive aspects of your home’s location and market them aggressively. When it comes to positive locations, people’s different attitudes and preferences will determine if a location is a “good” one.
